Miramonte Resort and Spa

Scope

Construction of an 11,000 square foot ballroom building to provide seating capacity for approximately 480 guests. This state-of-the-art facility will include a 6,000 square foot ballroom (divisible into 4 salons), a pre-function space that opens up onto a beautifully landscaped event lawn, a service corridor, a cooking kitchen and new public restrooms. New details are designed to match and enhance the architectural vocabulary and style of the existing facility.

Challenges

Complete construction of this facility during a 9 month period which included extensive jurisdictional requirements, issues associated with adjacent property conditions, and unforeseen underground obstacles.

Benefits to Client

Provide the client with a new, 14' high, clear span ballroom space to new re-position the properties ability to meet competitive market demand.
