Construction management of 16,000 to 18,800 SF new store build-out / tenant improvements in Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.  ZWA provided services that included feasibility cost / budget studies, lease exhibit negotiations with landlord representatives, base building drawing development and coordination to meet ON brand requirements, project development / management (schedule, consultants), drawing review, bidding and contract negotiation and field supervision.

Challenges

Lease exhibit negotiations, landlord schedules / drawing development and coordination, floor condition, detailed execution of drawings and design intent each presented challenges.

Construction management of 12,500 to 19,200 SF open store renovations in Wisconsin and Illinois including refinishing concrete floors.  ZWA provided services that included: feasibility cost / budget studies, lease exhibit negotiations with landlord representatives, base building drawing development and coordination to meet ON brand requirements, project development / management (schedule, consultants), drawing review, bidding and contract negotiation and field supervision.

Challenges

Refinishing concrete floors in an open store, coordinating construction (day and night work) with minimal impact on the customer’s experience, achieving a high level of quality and detail in open store environment, phasing / scheduling work, de-merchandising and re-merchandising and booth set placement presented challenges over the course of these projects.

Benefits to Client

ZWA’s excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate work with the store and explain issues in an understandable fashion contributed to a positive experience for the staff of renovated stores.  The updates further contributed to the company’s ability to compete in a competitive retail market.
